LAGOS NOTES AND RECORDS (VOLUME 31, 2025): CALL FOR PAPERS/ARTICLES/SUBMISSIONS
Lagos Notes and Records (LNR) is currently accepting manuscripts for volume 31 (2025) scheduled to be published in the third/fourth quarter of 2025. LNR is an annual interdisciplinary journal of the humanities devoted to publishing well-researched articles in all areas of the humanities and allied disciplines (i.e., Arts, Social Sciences, and Law). It publishes high-quality solicited and unsolicited articles in English. In addition to original articles, the journal also publishes review articles, brief accounts of work in progress, as well as notes and comments on issues arising out of recent publications.
All articles scheduled for publication in LNR go through a double-blind peer-review process. The referencing format of the journal is based on APA and MLA styles. Contributors are expected to submit their typed articles double spaced in Times New Roman, 12-point size. They are advised to avoid self-referencing, disclosure of their identities, and sexist/racist expressions in their papers. Names, designations and contact addresses of contributors are to be indicated on a detachable cover page with the title of the paper reflected on the first page. Each manuscript submitted for consideration should not exceed 7500 or 8000 words. Contributors are expected to pay a tidy sum of N8,000.00 for the review of their articles as soon as they submit them. Once accepted, contributors will pay an additional N25,000.00 per article for the inclusion of their papers in the volume.
